Skendleby Hall
This project involved conducting a detailed building condition survey of the existing building fabric, akin to a Quinquennial Inspection, for the current owner of the property.
Following these initial inspections and investigations, Simons Design developed preliminary sketch proposals for a mini-masterplan of the estate. This strategic plan outlines a phased programme of future works over several years, enhancing and expanding the existing facilities at Skendleby Hall to establish it as a premier luxury exclusive-hire venue, nestled in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Worksop Priory Gatehouse
The works to the Priory Gatehouse consist primarily of internal refurbishment and repair works to support the continued use of the building. The works include the removal of redundant fixtures and services, minor internal alterations, and the installation of new facilities, including a kitchen area, accessible WC and associated ancillary spaces. Additional works include localised re-pointing of the existing stone masonry using lime mortar, upgrades to electrical and mechanical services, and the installation of discrete security measures such as external CCTV. These works are limited in scope and are intended to improve the functionality of the building while retaining its existing external appearance and historic fabric.
