Daniel Christie - Director and Lead Architect
BSc(Hons), M.Arch, PGDip, RIBA, AABC
Daniel is a RIBA Chartered Architect whose work is defined by a deep respect for architectural heritage and a commitment to serving contemporary communities. His approach combines sensitivity to tradition with a clear vision for how buildings can evolve to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. Daniel believes that architecture is at its best when shaped through trust, open communication, and collaboration. He takes great satisfaction in working closely with clients, consultants, and craftspeople to resolve challenges collectively and deliver projects of enduring quality and purpose.
Specialising in the adaptive reuse of historic buildings for public and civic use, Daniel sees his work as an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing story of each place, adding new layers of meaning while preserving its essence. His designs aspire to create calm, richly textured spaces that invite people to feel both at ease and inspired. -

Adrian Ahmed - Director and Lead Architect
BA(Hons), BA.Arch, PGDip, RIBA
Adrian is a RIBA Chartered Architect with over two decades of experience in the industry, primarily across the residential, pharmaceutical/life sciences, and commercial sectors. His key strengths include extensive expertise in BIM management and the coordination of multidisciplinary design teams and specialist contractors, acting as lead architect on large-scale projects typically valued between £2 million and £50 million. Adrian has in-depth knowledge of cleanroom design, technologies and specialist manufacturing processes, making him a key asset to the practice when working with global blue-chip clients.
He is also a central figure within the practice for expertise in the CDM Principal Designer role, which is critical when delivering sensitive, high-risk industrial and manufacturing projects.

Mandy Green - Practice Manager
MCIPD
Mandy is the Practice Manager for Simons Design and brings a friendly, calm and highly organised approach to everything she undertakes. As the first point of contact for new enquiries, she plays a key role in managing relationships with clients and ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Mandy oversees the day-to-day running of the practice, coordinating office administration, finance, marketing and general business operations to ensure the wider team can focus on delivering projects effectively. She supports the Directors and project teams with the smooth running of the practice, managing processes, organising information and ensuring that administrative requirements are kept on track.

Rosi Fieldson - Associate
BA (Hons), B.Arch (Hons), M.Arch, PhD
Rosi is an ARB-registered architect and holds a PhD in sustainability in UK retail architecture and BREEAM Assessor/Accredited Professional status since 2011. Her recent consultancy experience spans BREEAM assessment and Whole Life Carbon Assessment, alongside twenty years of architectural practice, including at Simons Design and academic role leading the Diploma in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture. Rosi will be a core member of the design team from project outset, not an external sub-consultant engaged on an as-needed basis, giving the zero-carbon installation, energy efficiency appraisal and electricity upgrade the benefit of dedicated, continuously available sustainability expertise integrated with the conservation design from Stage 2 onward.

Stephen Poll - Associate
BA(Hons)
Stephen is a logical, practical and hands-on professional who thrives on the challenge of delivering complex projects. He has extensive experience in the preparation and development of architectural designs from inception through to completion, across many sectors. Stephen is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, as well as Affinity, and has practical experience with 3D printing and digital design technologies.
In his recent role as an Associate, Stephen has taken on increased responsibility for project leadership, team coordination and client liaison, supporting the delivery of projects while contributing to the wider management and development of the practice.

Hania Choinacka - Technologist
BSc(Hons)
Hania started in the Simons Design Retail Team, where she worked mainly on fit-out schemes for Boots, Domino’s Pizza, SK Group and Heavenly Desserts, taking the design from feasibility stage to completion on site.
She has become experienced in multi-disciplinary resources within the team, helping deliver high quality, detailed designs enabling her to gain valuable experience across different architectural disciplines. For retail clients she has prepared full construction drawing packs, liaising with all parties, undertaking building surveys and attending site meetings.

Jess Melton - Project designer
BSc(Hons)
Jess completing her studies with us and she has continued to develop her skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility, recently being promoted to Project Designer in recognition of her dedication, commitment and contribution to the practice.
Jess has developed particular experience in leading and supporting the delivery of pharmaceutical projects, working confidently within complex project environments and applying her knowledge to the design and coordination of projects. Her progression reflects her strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills and conscientious approach, alongside her ability to take ownership of tasks and contribute effectively to project teams.

Rebecca Foster - Apprentice Architectural Technician
Becca is a valued member of our team, combining her university studies with hands-on experience at Simons Design. Having previously joined us for work experience, her skills and enthusiasm quickly stood out, leading to her becoming a permanent member of the team. She is developing her technical and design skills as she works towards a career as an Architectural Technician.

Reuel Quansah - Part 2 Architectural Assistant
BSc(Hons), M. Arch
Reuel brings with him his experience across residential, commercial and industrial projects. He is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and BIM, along with a strong knowledge of UK Building Regs. He is proficient in technical design, multidisciplinary coordination and was mentored by Simons Design through the RIBA Future Architects programme. He is passionate about sustainability, digital design and delivering great architecture.

Ciara Bayley - Architectural Assistant
B.Arch (Hons)
Ciara is a bubbly, motivated and driven architecture graduate from the University of Lincoln. She is passionate about attention to detail and loves to create designs that harmonise aesthetics and functionality.
She is skilled in both Revit and AutoCad as well as Photoshop and InDesign, using this experience to create masterplans and visualisations as well as putting together planning documents.

Lucia Yell - Architectural Assistant
B.Arch (Hons)
Lucia is a committed architecture graduate who demonstrates enormous creative potential and knowledge. She is building a strong foundation of architectural experience based on innovation and creativity. She was awarded the RIBA East Midlands BArch Best Design for Social Value in the end of Year awards at University, as well as the The Lincoln Award in her final year as well.

Madison Fisher- Media Designer
Madison is combining her studies in multi-channel marketing with on the job experience in the Simons Design office. She is steadily growing in confidence across various software and tools, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. She plays a key role in the management and coordination of Simons Design’s social media channels. Highly motivated and organised, she is continuously expanding her knowledge and skills through her ongoing multi-channel marketing course while growing within the design industry.
